Flip Flops to wear in the shower
Alarm that has the ability to vibrate - so as to not wake the rest of the people in the room
Power Strip with a country appropriate converter - see My Favorite Travel Products to know which one I use. - some hostels have one plug for several people
Shower caddy (with hook) - see My Favorite Travel Products to know which one I use.
Camera Equipment
headlamp or flashlight - this is extremely useful if you have to get up in the middle of the night and are sharing the room with several other people if there is not a light for each bed
